energy gives you level and it unlocks you to other stuff.. when you get enough $ you can buy those weapons.. also you need certain mafia members to get those special items.. energy helps you get those loot items you want... from doing jobs..

basically you need energy and time to level. also with that 400 energy you cant really go any higher quicker or complete 3 star jobs.. and unlock weapons or defense tools.

well you have a point too.. but its depends on peoples strategy.

i still dont undrestand why p[eople add so much to energy, what is the point of lvling fast? there is no max lvl i am aware of and imo good items and adding to attack and defence is way more important than just lvling fast., then again that is probably why i hardly ever loose a fight even against people higher lvl than me :P im lvl 207 and have 460 attack and def on my stats and 400 energy. i like to get my iced and killed stats up though :) NO MERCY! lol
