Some guys on HeliFreak.com asked about my field box so here is a guided tour. It has some bloopers. Was about the fifth take so... I let them go. LOL I hope it gives you some good ideas.

    I actually do not close them down all the way and I do periodically lubricate and wipe them down to keep them in good shape.

    Very nice. You have certainly made working on my Blade a little easier. On your dial calipers, you may want to store them with a couple of thousandths between them If stored closed, a fine layer of rust can form between them and throw off your measurements.

    I have thought about picking up one of those cold heat irons. I have also seen a little gas iron. It would be neat for it requires no power.

    Awesome! Currently, I am using an aluminium case with 6 seperate slots. I have inside my transmitter, a tool set consisting 3 sizes of flat heads, allen wrenches, philips heads and a pliers. Extra parts...I have pretty much what you have except for the charger... and a few extra tools. I also have a first aid kit incase anything happens. As for the soldering iron... I use a cold heat soldering iron. It is portable.
