    Not necessarily. Ian is right: some people are born with extremely soft ligaments and fatter "cushions" of cartilage inbetween the vertebrae of the spine. Not everybody could reach Alexey's staggering feats of flexibility, even if they worked out 24-7. Some kids are more flexible than others.
