Aikido Early Masters

Defaye, we already KNOW that aikido doesn't work in real life - i.e. with a REAL attacker who uses BOTH arms and is trying to punch the aikidoka in the face... Because there isn't a SINGLE video of this in existence. All we have are hundreds of videos of patsies jumping around like idiots, 'attacking' in the most laughable way possible, and MikeUntstinks' comments are typical of the sort of retards who think they're practicing 'fighting' when they go to their gay aikido classes...

Hapkido is interesting, but it is derived from Aikido and in some ways a bit awkwardly. Much of the falling in Hapkido is ungraceful, and would simply hurt without a straight face. Part of this art is "taking it like a man" I'd say. However, after years of practise (given that you appreciate the art as a way of life), I think your body condition would speak for itself, after many years of neglect. This goes for other jitsu arts too.

Rather than flaming the art - which is highly disrespectful in itself; and makes you look like nothing but an arrogant pedestrian tool - back up your claims with evidence. Then I will listen to someone like you.

Once in my life I got attacked and I just moved aside made "Tenkan" mouvement. That this guy just fell onto the ground. And I am far far away from being good as Aikdoka.
To koksukay: Why don't you go to an Aikido Dojo and try to attack some of the members or the teacher. May be that could change your mind or not. But pease don't be to much surprised when it hurts. It can hurt quite badly I can assure you. So you better inform a doctor before.

It's not necesary to defend Aikido and its masters. They speek for themselves. I think O sensei Morihei Ueshiba and all other gret masters would not be happy about your responses. Is'nt it the spirit of Aikido to use the energy of an opponend and give it back to him.
