Superb. Great to see an all diesel layout from the recent past (though I prefer the small logo period myself). Remember to run those freight trains really slow! Well done.

Clean the ballast from the inside of the rail. thats was causing it to crackle, also its ruining your locamotives wheels!

Very good - very atmospheric with a fine attention to detail - could you have a word to your drivers for running thru' the red signals - definitely one for the Rail Regulator maybe. Congrats on a fine layout.

  • Hi, the layout is ...

Hi, the layout is dc at the moment, i would very much like to convert to dcc at some stage, the problem is the expense of chipping 50-60 locos which i have. i would also love to do sound but same scenario. the layout is in ashed so no neighbour issues!!

2/2. My neighbour actually complained to me when I ran all the locos on my layout with sound so I have to run them in silent mode but anyway. Here is 5-stars for a great Layout and a great 1980's theme too ;). I have added this to my favourites as well.

  • Hi there, Is your ...

Hi there, Is your DC or DCC? If you have DCC then I reccommend a sound decoder from howes because that really brings the Hornby Class 50 Model to life. Though if you equipped all your locos with sound chips then I would suggest getting sound insulation as the neighbours might not appreciate the lash-ups on double-header trains. 1/2
