Oh gosh the T-Bean. The high end was slicing and that S**ker had the hardest time staying in tune. The aluminium neck was problematic with its expanding and contracting. It sounded very cool with the "envelope follower"

Yeah. Donna never just sort of wailed in the background. I concur with you ecofrog, she's just truly a gem to behold, aurally.

Donna = the most productive and valued memeber of the long history of members of the Grateful Dead. She was rarely off key and never an inappropriate crazy yoddle meets yoko ono! She made the team, helding them together sorta like CRAZY glue.

This is one of my favorite Dead songs. Bob Weir is just truly amazing in this one...great performance by the band. I miss them so much.

You are right about the ayya ya ya on this one. THose were amazing days. I was 16 17 18 in 77 78. Great time to see them. Before MIDI came into play. Garcia had a very simple and powerful set up. 2 Twins, delay ect. I was looking for some comment on the Ay Ays and you had it. PEace to you.
