Origami Rose

I made a dragon & it was soo UGLY.
the guy made it with no wings.

to start off maybe try a template, might be easier

Thanks for the comment and for adding it to your favourites :) If you want to make a whole bunch I suggest making a whole lot of the paper creases and then do the easy folding later. Good luck hope it does work out!

If your rose has a space in the middle at the bottom u can add the stem, it's your choice and you may add the stem at any angle you would like. I'd say have a test run of all the different types of stems and see which one u prefer.

I've noticed if you fold down the closest part to the cent but not twisted (Sides...kinda) it makes it look even more rose like.
And if you've seen joseph wu's kawasaki rose base, it works for this style of rose also ^^

Cool, thanks for this! I can make roses but for whatever reason I can't get this type (is it an actual kawasaki?) to work.

So. Breath. I'm going to give it another try this weekend. I'll make some copies of your template and see how I get on. (sometimes I'm like 'OMG... it's working... it's coming together.... its....its.... a ball of paper! Agh!').

That's what i want to know :P I guess you have to figure out a twisting technique that allows you to get as much twist as possible "literally" twist as much as you can, then maybe shape it by squeezing the rose so it looks a bit more realistic. If that makes any sense. Hope that helped a tiny bit.
