Half-Life 2: Episode 2 Trailer

Half Life 2 is the "first" of the lot, done like a normal full release.

After that, episodes 1 + 2, and 3 when it eventually comes out, carries on where HL2 left off, but in a shorter, episodic style.

You can get them separately, or get HL2 + episodes 1 + 2 as part of a compilation called the orange box (which also includes Portal and Team Fortress 2).

can someone please tell me what episode 1, 2, and 3 are? do they all come with half life 2 or do you have to buy them separately like expansions?

The Orange Box is fantastic. I played the first oneon PC years ago and thought it was brilliant. This has taken it to another level.

Tough i do agree HL2 is a masterpiece, Doom and Wolfenstein had a far greater influence on the genre.

The first Half life had almost the same story as Doom and it only added some cinematic touches.

my personal fave is
"it will be like the 7 hour war all over again...only this time we wont last 7 minutes"

Think about this, Half-Life is one of the first great FPS that ever game out, it's what made FPS today, think of how Halo would be without Half-Life

half life is way better than halo i think half life is actually scary and challenging without cheating i mean just seeing all the monsters and S**t scare me alot which is awesome half life 1 was the scariest
