Could you be more specific on the "undo power clip" step? I just bought more RAM for my Mac Mini and I understand every step except the undo power clip step. Thanks!

  • I say that you ...

I say that you should start out with a Mini to see if you are happy with Apple's computers, and if you are, upgrade to a Macbook. Mac Minis are the cheapest Macs out there.

The question is: do u need a laptop?
If not, then a mac mini with a large screen is probably the better idea.

But please go for an alu macbook instead of the white one! the even bigger touchpad, the keyboard, the looks... why would u save 200bucks in the wrong place?

Not true. depending on which model you have. The 1.66Ghz Intel Core Duo will only take 2Gb. I just tried to take it to 3Gb and the system would not recognize it. My Mini would not even boot ip

  • Yes, it looks like ...

Yes, it looks like you'd be essentially wasting a gig of RAM. Apple specifies that the mini can go up to 2 GB of RAM, but it can actually recognize 3 GB.

  • You know, it looks ...

You know, it looks like it doesn't void your warranty (as long as while doing it, you don't break anything).

Good luck - it's cool when you get into the mini. :)
