There is no Humpty-Dumpty, and there is no god! That's for scared, ignorant people 5,000 years ago! Talk about the biggest con ever! Religion has actually convinced 90% of the population that there's an invisible man that lives up in the sky! Holy S**t ! Do you really believe that sick brainwashing? But, I like the bible and this scene very much!

  • If you believe that ...

If you believe that 95 % of the population is wrong, then that is your belief. But to say that America was not founded on Christian principles, as a History teacher, I would have to disagree with you. Jefferson was a dieist but also said that Christianity was the highest religion and was important aspect of our democracy. The Puritans, Pilgrims, Founding Fathers, abolitionists and 84% of the American population that are Christians, would disagree with you.

  • I believe in God ...

I believe in God solely out of rational conviction: I think it is the height of illogic to believe that our infinitely complex universe came into being without an architect.

I am sorry to hear that.
Kent Poole - Standout Indiana high school basketball star who played the role of Merle Webb in the 1986 basketball film "Hoosiers", and who uttered the line "Let's win this one for all the small schools who never had a chance to get here", committed suicide on Sept. 11, 2003 by hanging himself from a tree outside his residence in Crawfordsville, IN at age 39.

  • I am not arguing ...

I am not arguing against yours or anyone else's call to faith. But that is what it is -- faith. A rational basis for God would be a sliver of scientific evidence of his/hers/its existence. That does not exist. One does not "believe" in evolution as dogma. One recognizes that species have evolved which neither confirms nor denies the existence of anyone's God. The spaghetti monster is just a simple way of showing the silliness of teaching Intelligent Design.

There is no rational basis for a belief in God?

Wow, for thousands of years man has feared God, what makes you think you know better? We haven't found any scientific proof to prove otherwise. Just because we cant prove there isn't a God doesn't mean we should believe in one, but what makes you sooo sure there isnt a God?

Isnt evolution, or the spaghetti monster just as faith based?
