There are more security options than just codes. Especially when stakes are high, like with an ATM, security will be provided by both a physical key as well as a code.

So even when you know the factory default (which shouldnt even be default, but a random code for every for every machine placed in a shop) you still need the physical key to access the maintenance options.

This scam will rarely, if ever, work.

The Machine needs a code. all machines do, its not just to double its to get into the system of it to fix problems it may have but usually there is 2-3 codes you use, my mother used to work in a bank but she only knew about how many codes but no worker ever gets given the code only the system provider, like i said they need it to fix problems with the machine
