    home depot in marina del ray is worst place ever--i went there to buy sealant or caulk for windows---first no one was there and after almost 4 people coming and going they still didnt tell me that how to insulate windows---and no tape of 3 m was there and no caulk help---well i dont expect anything more from a corporate setting and no wonder they will be closing stores soon--most imp is consumer help and they fail in most their stores---i always end up in lowes

    Its a skill to caulk perfectly. Its not the easy. Just use your finger or the tip of the caulk tube. Lacquer thinner is the best clean up solution. you can just start pushing the caulk out of the gun. Need a demo!! Please for the novice that watch this video.

    Agree with the previous comment. Also, you don't really need all that stuff - the alcohol, caulking tools, etc might help, But all you actually need is a tube of caulk and a cheap gun, or just a squeeze tube of caulk. Some people will be put off by all that stuff they are told they need to buy and use, and they may end up avoiding caulking as more work and money than they are willing to spend.
    I say make it as easy as possible for people to save energy, and then show them the fancier way after
