Well, obviously Laraque won, but give thornton credit. 2 inches shorter, and much much lighter, he handled himself pretty good. I'd say thornton is a pretty tough kid.

there was, the kostitsyn should have been a penalty and that was prettys tupid on the refs part.
but one 1 on 3 we where offside, second one we wen't, but even if we where u can't call it so late
on top of that the end penaltys on the habs where ridiculous but when the b's get tripping up our players (like kovy on the breakaway) nothing was called
the reffing was shitty both ways
like when our shot hit the net and noting was called

now they have komi and laraque be ware to habs

Explain to me then why Laraque is considered THE best hockey fighter to present day... and at lead 25 out of the 30 GMs can confirm this and 90+% of hockey fighters out there can too. Thornton put up a good bout, but fact is he didn't win, Laraque connected more punches... and throwing a guy down does WIN the fight... it just shows that you can't punch so you throw them down...

Did you not notice how Thornton grapples his right arm around Laraque (who is considered THE toughest fighter throughout the NHL) after Laraque gets back up and starts shooting lefts? Granted, there was a take down and we must give Thornton credit, but to say Laraque was "lost" the fight is completely ridiculous. You obviously don't know anything about fights... It was a tie at best... if not, a Win by Big G.
