**EXACT WORDS FROM VIDEO**

Hello,

today im going to show you how to use your ipod as an external hard drive

I will be using a 30 gb ipod video, but any ipod that you can enable disk use on will work

so first plug in your ipod

once it is connected go into itunes and click on your ipod

now under the preferences for your ipod, check the box next to "enable disk use" then click apply

Once than is finished, you should see a little icon of your ipod on your desktop like this one

If you double click that icon then there should be three folders in there-notes contacts and calendars

now feel free to to add anything that you may want to have on the go with you

In this case I added all of the files for my website so i can take them from computer to computer without having to buy any expensive software

This is the perfect way to fill in all of that extra space or put good use to an old ipod

and the best part is, your ipod is smart enough to know the difference between your music, and all of the files that you have added-so you can still use you ipod as an ipod without any issues!

I hope this helped you and feel free to message or comment me with any question or comments.

thanks for watching!
