Zakopane crash Mazoch took part in the World Cup event in Zakopane, Poland on January 20, 2007. He had been in 15th position after his first jump, the best performance of his career thusfar. The jumpers had to deal with changing winds throughout the event. It is believed that when Mazoch was in mid-air, the wind lift suddenly disappeared, causing him to crash to the ground.
