Theory of evolution is a theory that life evolved from microbs and eventually into modern humans and animals.

Evolution of character of a person throughout his life is not something Christianity discourges. I think Christianity actually encourages that.

Also, evolution is a central concept in this show. This of course puts it at odds with Christianity.

Given that the show this song showed in was called 'Heaven Shattering Crimson Face' I highly doubt it. This show is more about throwing away the higher powers and relying on the power of the independent. There are no religious references in the show, and even if there were, most Japanese shows simply use Christian theology because to them it looks cool and exotic, making it often not fit. In short, your pulling at straws here. This song is more about using willpower, not faith, to get by.

Instead of being Christian, it's more "Faith" in general. Faith in humanity rising up, faith in a leader, faith in anything. Though God is certainly a central element in alot of these anime, and alot of this genre, in this case, they're singing more about the Gurren Lagann itself delivering the human race. (Which could be seen as a God, due to it's unlimited power)
