Wish people that say Steve can't sing anymore and can never come back could understand that it is not just his lovely voice that we love but his passion and feeling that go straight through to the heart (sorry for the run-on sentence).

Hope this wonderful man knows how much his fans still love and adore him.

This song makes me feel sad at times cuz you can see steve just saying goodbye,, i believe that is what he meant by this song,, just like others have said,,, but u know? I love this man, and he will return to us one day, i have that feeling. Steve you rock sweetie,, and your fans are here for you, matter of fact they never left. Love all the comments about Steve. I feel that this giving so deeply of himself with every song is the reason why he was so burned out and left the band. He mentions somewhere that he gives a piece of his soul everytime he sings or something to that effect. I think that those of us who really "hear" his soul are the ones everyone calls fanatics or obsessive. Those who accept the new singers so readily are the ones who are not "hearing". Make any sense?

Yes, I think Steve Perry is very unique in that he has revealed a lot of sentiments and emotions about his personal affairs and tribulations through his music, and more directly through the lyrics. If you'd really want to find out what he was going through in his life with Journey, one needs to look no further than his own songs. It's that honesty in his music that touches us all...

I still remember,When I bought "Raised On Radio" album, I find that in this album
Finally a song "Why Can't This Night Go On Forever", At that time I was already aware;
There will be no more Journey, Because in the lyrics of the song, This message has already revealed......

If you ask me: Why do you like the "journey",
My answer is ; They have affected me .....
