And I believe IP is way more beneficial... again, "safe" is the key word.

Man, this video tugged at me. I've struggled with eating "issues" for about a decade now. I'm at an average weight. Never ever had treatment. I had a "counselor" for my freshman year in college, but she was a graduate student... not much help. So yeah.

I've considered going IP time after time. But I can't afford it. I can't talk to my parents (it's not like they can force me--I'm 19) because they have blown it off before. And I am afraid of them being completely opposite & going wayyy overboard

I went to Remuda, but I am relapsing now and considering going to Seattle Childrens Hospital for inpatient that sickness is 90lbs and under and I was there but not anymore so the eating disorder is telling me I'll be the fattest one there if I go and I dont need to. Your video helps me realize it doesn't matter if you are relapsing at all you should go inpatient for you can be safe from ED.

i understand your fear, even though I was prominently anorexic. i was not at a low 'anorexic' weight that is usually thought of. i was still very underweight but the picture of sickness in my mind is 90lbs and under. but the truth is, you dont have to be a specific weight to be sick & need help. i wish you the BEST of luck - and please keep me posted alright? id love to know how your doing =)

wow I'm so glad i found this video now... i'm about to go to inpatient for 4 weeks and i've been panicking so much about it, i'm bulimic so normal weight and part of the reason im so scared is that i'll probably be the biggest one there, as stupid as that fear sounds.. thanks for this

I so agree. Everybody with an ED should consider inpatient.
