  • In the beginning of ...

In the beginning of his boxing career Mike was under tough control of Cus Damato and Kevin Rooney, but since Cus died, and Rooney was fired by Tyson in 1988 , his skills started going down and his mind was occupied only by Don King and his dirty money!
My personal opinion is, if Tyson had stayed with Rooney and kept himself organized, he would've still be undefeated and undisputed heavyweight champion with zero loses.

  • Yea MIke brought ...

Yea MIke brought new style and passion to the boxing.. He is one of the few boxers who had the "best prime" at super early age, I guess we ALL ought to consider this fact..There are many arguments about Tyson and his promoter Don King which doesn't deserve my respect because of his passion to the money and screwing up so many talented boxers in different devisions.

  • When you think ...

When you think Tyson as a boxer you shouldn't think about that crap what he did after 80's. I try to concentrate in that guy who Mike Tyson was at the end of the 80's and he was the greatest heavy weight chapion ever!

  • Tyson was the only ...

Tyson was the only heavyweight to have ruled the HW division with an iron fist and brought fear not only to his opponents but also to the audience. Tyson and Lewis worked together in the amateurs and at that time no one really gave a damn about Lewis. They also used to spar and Tyson smashed Lewis' nose back in his prime, you couldn't compare Lewis to Tyson in the 80s and the 90s where Tyson's mental game was still intact.

  • He beat the crap ...

He beat the crap out of Holmes(48-0-0) who's only loss was againsts Spinks at the time. KOd Spinks in 1 round and forced him into retirement. Destroyed Frank Bruno who at one time shook Lennox Lewis and had KOd all of his opponents. KOd former WBA world Heavyweight Champ Bruce Seldon and KOd Trevor Berbick former WBC world Champ. He cleaned out the 90s no doubt if Wladimir was in his era nobody would know him.

  • There's a ...

There's a difference between amateur and professional. Mclellan beat Roy Jones Jr in the amateurs. Tyson KOd Tillman in ONE round in the pros. Plus, amateurs are where boxers are still raw, you cannot compare the two. I can name plenty of gold medalist who didn't even make top 10 contendership and got layed out when faced with a real champ.
