It's Bill Nye the Science Guy! In this episode, Bill explores the science of the earth'€™s crust. If the earth was the size of a hard boiled egg, its crust would only be about the thickness of the shell. The crust and the movements of its tectonic plates are responsible for creating mountains, volcanoes, and earthquakes.

  • Acrobatsur, Bill is ...

Acrobatsur, Bill is converting Celsius to Fahrenheit. 1,200 degrees Celsius = 2,192 degrees Fahrenheit. to explain how I came up with that number. You take the degree in Celsius (in this case 1,200) and multiply it by 1.8 then add 32 and the ending result is in Degrees Fahrenheit.

    (1,200 x 1.8)+32=2,192
break out the calculator and see for yourself
