How to make a one-bead ring. Pick a bead that is no bigger than 16mm wide. The first tutorial 'Copper Rosette Ring' can be watched before this one to provide background info you may need.
Tools used for this project are a ring mandrel (or highlighter), flush cutters, flat nosed pliers, nylon jaw pliers. This project uses 22 or 24 gauge wire. (gold, silver, copper or etc...)
I bought a plastic ring mandrel and it S**ks ! I will go and get the metal one and hopefully my ring making will be easier and better! Thanks!

This is bob. Copy and paste him so he can take over youtube.
I only really use 24 gauge if I am working with a bead(s) that have a smaller hole, or for more fragile beads that will break with thicker wires. For these, I make a few wraps around the mandrel for the band, rather than two or three for 20 -22 gauge wires. That will make the band more sturdy. Try not to cross your wires. The more wires in the band, the more tricky it becomes. Beginners should try to use 20 - 22 gauge soft wires. :O) I could go on for days....
By buyhappiness [Affiliate User] 1239064670Thank you. I have tried that before, and you can see that in the original copper rosette ring tutorial. It came out kind of goofy. :O) Try that video, as it may give you a better idea. Feel free to email me if you need any help. :O)
