Just a caveat
Looking off to the presenters left, the viewer's right (representing lying) is dependant on the person. One will need to calibrate where that person looks when asked to create a visual, a kinesthetic or an auditory picture , sound or state versus where they would look if they are remembering one.

Generally looking to their right is accessing a created image, sound or feeling and to the left is accessing a remebered one. But one must always calibrate to establish what is normal for that individual person.

Left handed people tend to be the reverse of right handed people but sometimes one or more of the senses (eg. visual or auditory) may be the same side as a right hander.

If they look to the their RIGHT it's called AUDITORY CONSTRUCTION, which means they are making it up.

In Japan, it is considered that people does prolonged eye contact is rude unless they are in close relationship.There are sevral reasons to avoid long eye contact by their custom.Recently it is more westernized and for example, professional broardcasters and actors definetly does prolonged eye contact but I can't say the western manner is taken root for most of ordinary Japanese people.

people can often lie to you while looking straight into your eyes, unfortunately we humans have mastered all trickery to become good at lying!
