  • Wow great review! I ...

Wow great review! I have had this camera for a month, already shot a music and food festival in Seattle, a wedding in San Luis Obispo, California, and my vacation in San Diego, CA. So far I love it. Now I need to explore that software more, very cool about the desktop view feature! Thanks, I didn't even think about that!

  • I own the 50D but I ...

I own the 50D but I am going to recommend this T1I to my sister for beginning photography. I would also recommend the Tokina 11-16 f/2.8 lens for anyone interested in fun wide angle close ups or landscape shots. f/2.8 also allows low light shooting and fast focus. This is a great camera and I am considering it as a backup to my 50D, unless I can find a 40D for the same price.
