TomTom with Internal N95 Gps (BinPDA Hack)

when i am trying to get a position my phone asks me if i want to switch the blue tooth device on..should i do this ?

1 go to app "GPS data"
2 go to "position"
3 GO AUTSIDE AND WAIT until you get Longit, Accuracy, Alt, etc data
4 after u get it, it means your gps has a signal
5 go GPSd application and you will see that (Letitude and Logit. are no more empty)
6 now you are ready to connect tomtom app. with your internal gps.
7 go to tom tom -> change preferences -> show gps status -> configure -> other bt gps rec. ->Binpda GPS

One more important thing . it takes time, for me 1-5 minutes to get gps signal

i did that ...but someone i was speaking to said that i might have to unlock my phone. lol im sure i sound like a complete noob but i apologize lol

try to uninstall tomtom from prog.manger and install after that 3.tomtom.sisx

start Gpsd and after taht tomtom

try switching bluetooth off in settings>general>positioning>positioning methods. But bluetooth should be on in tools

i have a n95 8gb and I have installed the tomtom and everything, but I can't connect with "binpda gps" only writes "connecting to GPS device", and nothing happens,why????????

k so i have installed everything i think properly however when i go to get a signal from the gpsd i get nothing. and then i just read bbdd3650's comment and i tried changing my access point to wireless and i couldnt really do that because wireless wasnt an option..my only options were: go rogers, media, Rogers Internet or streaming and all of them have a lock beside them. how i got there was settings>positioning>positioning server>access point. I hope i just did something wrong. thank you

i installed the bt, gpsd, and the tom tom on my N95 8gb i realize its an 8gb but w.e and every time i try to start the gpsd i never get a signal..what am i doing wrong
