A shark goes on a woman in the bahamas. At the ultimate she's saved by a dolphin that's clearly protecting this woman from maybe a shark bite. We'll never know. The tiger shark has been confirmed by a scientific in Hawai and one in the bahamas.
Once againn what is interesting here is NOT what the shark could have done, but what the dolphin did : Protecting an human. It have been confirmed by a dolphin comportementalist.
But feel free to make your opinion.....

Did they never consider that the dolphins, simply felt that the shark was going to come after them and therefore attacked it? I doubt they were protecting the woman....they seem to be covering their own asses.

  • Sure are a lot of " ...

Sure are a lot of "experts" contributing their 2 cents on this video. None or your blanket statements about what all sharks do seem accurate to me...but then I'm not the expert. They (as in all sharks) seek a high fat content do they? What about the ones who feed primarily on FISH, and not on mammals? Last I checked most fish are relatively low in fat. And since sharks have consumed everything from liscense plates to life rings, I'd say we know very little about what sharks will consume.

Again, if you can see sharks, don't go in. It's that simple. If you see them and go in anyway, then you deserve to die to feed the sharks and rid the world of your stupidity.

  • Sharks don't really ...

Sharks don't really like the taste of people. They seek large fat content. Unfortuneately they can't pinch you to tell, so they have to bite. Very few people have ever been totally consumed by sharks. Most that die bleed to death from the first bite. The shark usually leaves to seek other food sources.

  • people understand ...

people understand little of dolphins social behaviour. pods of dolphins keep a "creche" of the young at their centre. when the dolphins circled around the humans, they were actually using the humans (larger than baby dolphins) as additional shielding for their young. or so studies of their behaviour would have us believe. however thats not a very heartwarming story for the newspapers, so they tend to view thse things through rose tinted glasses....
