Porsche Should of Won. I hate BMW's. I had an X3 and it went in reverse while it was off and hit a tree.

I'll give you that a mid engine design of the Cayman is more logical than the 911 with all the weight in the back. However, Porsche obviously doesn't want its cheaper model to compete with the more expensive one. I think they intentionally made they Cayman look like "the 911's little brother". That's unfortunate. The Cayman may be a good car, but from looking at it, you can clearly tell its not the "best" one (Im excluding the Carrera GT here, of course)

Thats because you dont live in spain. .. :) why extra money for 911? to be honest, i have both...and Cayman S is much better sports car than 911 (997). Cayman S is just the perfection..if you add some extra CV. Much better than the 911 and the engine at the back

WOW - "ITS A PORSCHE!" Obviously, you either don't have the money to get an expensive car, or you JUST got a bunch of money and don't have any idea what classy means. If you're going to get a Porsche, get it because you like the driving dynamics, not because "its a porsche". If you're so concerned with impressing your neighbors that you've got to get a specific marque, I'd suggest trying extenz or a penis pump.

I don't see too many ladies driving M5s and M6s, martinhevia. Porsche's fine, but spend the extra money for a 911. BMW has good cars across the price range

Oh wow... I actually can't choose. I'm sure the Cayman S is a helluva lot better though. I've driven both a 2000 Boxster S and a brand new Cayman, and despite the Cayman being a full generation ahead, the Boxster was much quicker just because it was an S. But... the 135i is twin turbo'd, and I do quite like BMW... it's close.

underdog. sigh . w/e i'd rather get a cayman instead of 135i . baby bmw. i think caymans can smoke 135i easily. it's a porsche. tho bmw is still a good manufacture. BUT IT'S A PORSCHE !

I see that Fifth Gear is aiming for some Top Gear-style cinematography, but all they really achieve with it is making me wonder if the video loaded up right.

I just got a 135i.. its fantastic! Turned in my Sentra Type-R. Best decision ever. Its better than the Sentra in every single aspect. And that Sentra was nice too!

I dont think the 135 is far from being a cool car. In fact I find it is very ugly. On the other hand 3 series coupe is a beautiful car. But I dont like the looks of the current 4 doors 3 series.
What I dont get about bmw is why a premium brand wastes its time on creations such as the 135. It´s a nonsense car, same goes for the cayman. What the hell is that a boxster with a permanent hard metal top? What kind of category is that. I think is a "I cant afford 911" category.

my question is with the 128i and 135i now on sale, who wants the 328i and 335i? There is a $6,700 or $5,900 price difference, respectivly
and while their is a SLIGHT(less then 2 inches total for front and rear) size difference in some areas in the interior, theres actually MORE headroom in the rear of the 1 series, and it has a larger trunk. Add in the fact that three is slightly heavier and therefore slower and its a clear win for the one. I just dont get why bmw did it.

Can't wait to see what BMW do with the tii... would love to see it go into production.
