    yes true but were all in europe now its not as if we in the north of england like all the cash going to london but they have most of the population etc people forget that a lot of our english blood comes from the other nations in briton irish scots and so on and so on

    (it just annoys me when people 'claim' ireland as theirs especially when they really don't have a clue, lots of people speak Irish, every child learns to speak it all throughout their school years,(although there are issues with HOW it is taught). We have an all-irish tv channel and it is, I think, undergoing an exciting revival) :)))

    Lorena McKennitt recorded a version of that song for her album Elemental, you should listen to it.

    Certainly both She Moved Through the Fair, and Belfast Child are powerful songs... magic? no... more than that.
