Windows Vista Tip - Remote Desktop Connection

Do you know which services need to be enabled for this to work?
I have 0 options in system properties > remote except for allow remote assistance (which is disabled)

Hey great video, by the way how did you get your 'apperance' to be like that (silver colour). The default is blue and I can't change it.

i could never get remote desktop to work for me. vnc is much easier for me

nice one, but you should show an example of it..
i mean, show yourself getting connected to another pc of yours, so people can really see what you can do with that feature...

on my vista it does not give me the options to have any version of remote desktop to control my laptop i am running vista home basic

Click on Start > Programs > Accessories > communications > then click Remote Desktop connection and follow the same instructions as in my video.

First take note that using your hard drive for RAM will slow down your PC's performance. First If I were you , increase your page file size. Do you have windows XP or vista?

sorry mate, the computer you want to control remotely must be running windows xp pro or later versions(not sure about vista home basic though) but he should be able to control yours

You need Vista Ultimate, Business, or Enterprise to enable RDP on a Vista box. XP has it in Pro.
