it had snowed and rained the day before so it was nice and wet and then behind the tree about 100 to 200 yards there was a large hill that was stopping all of the bullits. we made sure before that the bullets would be stopped before we pulled out the barrett

Hmm. When we shoot a .50, we are careful to know where the 396 grain bullet is stopping. I think it's irresponsible to send it into the woods. Maybe you're on a dedicated range and I'm talking out of my ass but I live in the desert so fires are a concern, not to mention the person or truck you might take out a mile and a half down the way. I'm a 2nd Amendment loving American but this gun is no plinker. Use responsibly.
