Michael Crawford and Sarah Brightman perform live at the 1988 Tony Awards.
I am ridiculously in love with Michael Crawford.

btw michael wanted it on the right side of his face instead of left which was wat was goin to happen
i dont thinks its micheal cause his voice is just sooooo bad, i know its not him.

Sad indeed.
By whointhewhatcares [Affiliate User] 1222243733 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveSeveral parts of the show are pre-recorded. Verse 1 and 2 of POTO are due to Phantom and Christine climbing a ladder to get onto the travelator. The high 'E' at the end of POTO is also pre-recorded. Why So Silent is pre-recorded as the phantom is wearing the red death mask. A forklift has to hoist him onto the top of the stairs in the masquerade scene and both mask and contact lenses render him almost blind. Dave Willets fell and broke his leg during Wandering Child in the 90s uk tour.

By wickedbrrr [Affiliate User] 1222049082 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removewell i know that several parts of the show are prerecorded. Maybe that is one of the times?
oh and
BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA he fell down the stairs?!?!?! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
but they were talking about the part when the phantom comes out during masquerade and walks down the stairs. they said that he fell once, but his voice kept going like nothign happened
By wickedbrrr [Affiliate User] 1222035192 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removethats because when whoever is playing christine does those bloddy high notes, they are pre-recorded so that the actress doesnt throw out her voice

that is my favorite quote ever.
That was quite literally one of the most amazing performances I've ever seen.
