  • well im not arguing ...

well im not arguing about the dick comment but i do play football and rugby, not all football is about throwing the ball there a running backs who run the ball through people, the only problem with that is they get stoped and the game is brought to a hult, but rugby the game continuse, so i think phoenix is a dick you cant just diss a sport if you dont know everything about it
    p.s. RUGBY ROCKS!

im sorry, but what is ultimate phoenix sayn?
that american football is a harder game than ruggers? if so, that dudes fukn dreamn. theres so many reasons rugbys harder but the most obvious one is the best-they wear protrective gear, including helmets, yes fukn helmets, rugby players wear their uniforms thats it. helmets? wtf?

what drugs are you on, the all blacks are ranked numba 1 for a reason. how many times have they been beaten by any of those teams in the last 4 years. They lose 1 game and every1 starts bagging them. They are the best team in the world buddy.

  • I'll be damned if ...

I'll be damned if rugby sevens isn't one of the most physically demanding games I've ever played. I felt like a fat piece of crap when I played my first sevens match where every player has to be as fast as a winger or fullback and as tough as a forward. There aren't as hard of hits as union, but I can take hits...it's the running that makes me feel like a lard-ass. I guess it just means that I've got to get in shape...

I think that you're dead-on. Both are great sports and they differ in ways that make it anything but easy to measure which is "harder".

  • I only know about ...

I only know about rugby, because thats the sport I chose.

But I admire both types of athletes for their dedication.

Both sports are anything but easy.

And the sport and any other sport along with it are equal, I'm tired of seeing this bullshit. Rugby is better, football is better.

Anything, that anyone does professionally. Not just sports...

Is doing a hell of alot more than arguing on youtube.

    Thats my 2 cents.

  • Seems like the ...

Seems like the people arguing between rugby and football know a lot about one and little about the other on both sides of the argument. I play both football and rugby for my college so I thought i'd throw in my opinion. I think that rugby is much more creative, while football involves a higher level of strategy in play design. I don't find the hitting in either game to be harder, because in football there are pads but you can high tackle and you don't have to wrap.

Nice compilation of tries. I'm going to see this year's edition, and I'll be pulling for the All Blacks. No one can catch them where they are now!! Ultimate Phoenix, maybe you just lay off and go to your precious Tom Brady vids, and leave rugby to people who can appreciate it for what it is; the toughest sport known to man!(And please view our vids).

so wat ur saying is, american football players are P***y 's? that are afriad of getting "killed" in ur words? right.... and yes rucking in rugby is quite a big factor in rugby. Looks to me like u dont have a clue about rugby mate.

  • I don't know, I ...

I don't know, I just see it differently. they give you pads so you won't get killed and you don't always have a 50 yard pass. You're right about the no blocking part, but at the same time, think of the running back, and what he has to endure. It's not exactly easy to break through the L.o.S. AND the coverage in the backfield. The rucking in rugby isn't really a factor, either. Am. football has linemen to take care of that. Also, both sports get the ball forward just in different ways.

  • phoenix..im ...

    phoenix..im american...rugby is tighter

yea sure football's tight when you have weeks to study plays and learn formations and cheat (patriots...) but rugby is so much tighter my friend. no pads, no blocking, running through all 15 guys instead of catching a 50 yard passing and beating 1...watch a rugby video that isnt 7's becasue theres no rucking...rucking is the tightest part of rugby

Apparently, I can't have a good conversation about two different sports with anyone outside the U.S. b/c i'll get bombarded with posts saying that I'm an idiot by people who have only watched one sport and hate America so much for no reason at all. When people are done doing their research on American Football rules and regs, then I'll come back.

maori and pieritomeglar, stfu b/c u both dont know what you're talkin about, you F*gs are just trying to make corny sound good.

  • You haven't a clue ...

You haven't a clue commenting on rugby with S**t like that. What the F**k does any of that mean anyway? Whats your point? Throwing the ball forward removes any case for comparing either game. Its like comparing Golf to Cricket! Are you serious with this S**t ?

Rugby is a lot more Physical, more Dynamic, more Demanding and most importantly a lot more Entertaining. I don't have to make a good argument this a rugby thread. F**k off and comment on some Throwball son.

  • yeah, 15 men all ...

yeah, 15 men all lined up next to each other. You only need to break through 1 or 2 to score in Rugby. In American football, the defensive line has the only players set in line like that. Everyone else is a couple meters out in the backfield. I've seen enough rugby games to know the difference. Apparently, you haven't watched enough American Football games to make a good argument.
