I urge everyone to have a look at the description of the Twelfth Imam as given by Shia hadiths. One will notice how it fits the description of the King of the Jews, not the Mahdi.

The prophet said that the Dajjal will appear amongst the Muslims. He also said that he will appear in Iran, where he will be followed by 70.000 Jews posing as Muslims.
The present regime in Iran is Shia. Ahmadinejad, who is in fact Jewish, already brags about the upcoming arrival of the Twelfth Imam.

Calm down dont rush..Imam Al-mahdi has signs for his arrival..read the Sunni books and u will find about Imam Al-mahdi..but a person like u is full of hatred .When he comes follow him..and dont worry..the dajjal is evil he is not muslim..u ignorant..when Mahdi comes he will say that there is no God but Allah and muhammed is the messanger of Allah..so, dont ever think the dajjal will come to be with Allah.he will be aganist Allah u ignorant fanatic. you need to be aware not us..!!!

The authentic hadiths of the Shia attribute to their Twelfth Imam some divine powers, like the power of bringing the dead to life. Also, your hadiths say that he will be from the house of David and that he will speak to God in Hebrew.

That is not the description of Imam Mahdi, but of the King of the Jews, the Dajjal. Be aware and avoid this trap.

even though..there are are some hadiths talks about Al-mahdi in sunnis book..but the majority of the Sunnis dont read their books..they only follow this Scholar and that as if Allah has forbidden u to use your brain and to look and search for the truth and most of all..at least to read about al-mahdi in your sunni books..any way..Allah guide us all..W salam

Shia are preparing for his arrival long time..and with respect to you Sunnis u dont really know much about Al-mahdi..u dont even know if he was born yet or not..u dont even know if there are signs for his arrival or not..iam not talking about the signs of earthquakes and wars..because those signs all the religions believe in...but Shia has many signs for the arrival of Imam Al-mahdi..and u are lucky now to know more about him now..many Sunnis dont know a lot about Al-mahdi..

I dont fink the muslim sunnis will say dat he is the anti christ dajjal and neither will the shias,im sure both paties have knowlege and will have rekognition of who he is.
Imam mahdi will be just what he is a muslim first and foremost, a imam and a fair and just ruler for the muslims of that time commencing to the final hour.and i agree he will be very pious and a saintley man
