I'm not suprise. i alway know that soccer can reunite anyone from any where. So what if you are Sunni, Turk or Shiite, on the soccer pitch you are one team. Too ashame we Americans cannot be like the rest of the world and live under the influence of soccer.

lmaooooo g7boo6 its alright buddy we believe ur not from saudi or USA but IM SURE UR FROM KOREA LMAOO...its ok u thinkk that...i thought saudi had a penalty as well, however, there was a post match analysis of the calls the ref missed...nd when the reviewd the part where jasim almost tackles the saudi guy...his knee was bent...so he didnt really cause him to fall...no penalty...also Iraq deserved a penalty after the saudi golie tripped the Iraqi player with his leg.

Thanks Aaia for giving us, the Socceroos, some lessons during our first maiden participation in the Asian Cup.

Actually Asian soccer is not as sucked as what I thought. You guys rock, really. We were too confident to beat you guys easily, but now we realize that Asian Soccer is much better than the Oceania.

Thanks Asia for accepting Australia being part of you.

  • Well done Iraq!, ...

Well done Iraq!, Among the wreckage of their faild country, I think Iraqis deseve celebration. If Viera can unite Iraqi soccer team, why can't their government unite their country?

I am amazed at the kindness of Jakarta supporters who support the fairytale team of Iraq. I think we should give credit to Indonesians who have shown maximum enthusiasm throughout the tournament and given the Iraqis hope and victory.

Congratulation to Iraq!!! They are the best team in this tournament...
They only conceded 2 goals when they play draw 1-1 against Thailand (penalty), and a victory 3-1 against Australia.
I must admitted that Iraq's team has got a superb defenders.
