Miljenko "Dino" Dvornik (born August 20, 1964 in Split) is Croatian musician, actor and reality television star.
A son of renowned Croatian actor Boris Dvornik, he and his brother Dean Dvornik used to support their father by playing children's roles in 1970s movies and TV shows, most notably Naše malo misto.
However, Dino was more interested in music. In 1980s he founded Kineski zid, pop band which promoted funk music. Gradually he built his popularity with combination of witty song lyrics and energetic stage performances. In this early stage of his career he chose his haircut and outfit to resemble Morrissey from The Smiths. In 1990s Dino switched to techno, but his best known song from the period is more mainstream Ništa kontra Splita, which won prestigious Split Music Festival in 1995.
In August 1989 Dino Dvornik married Daniela Kuljiš, with whom he has a daughter Ela. In the following years he has been in media spotlight due to the years of struggle with substance abuse. From that time dates funny anegdote that he should receive all respects because 'no one succeeded in taking of the drugs so many times'.
In 2004 he acted in the movie A Wonderful Night in Split playing Split narco boss. That year he became one of the first Croatian celebrities to start writing a blog. He was joined by his wife and daughter in doing so.
In 2006, he and his family became the stars of a Croatian reality show Dvornikovi (the Dvorniks), modelled after The Osbournes.
In 2008 Dino worked on his new album "Pandoras Box"
On 8.9.2008 Dino passed away in his sleep at 11am. His wife Danijela found him.
