This commercial makes me want to cry! I love my brother and I hope he gets the same treatment as the soldiers in this video. OH and hey guys, I never said that I support war,I never said that what Bush is doing deserves applause. Everything that goes on is out of our hands. I just liked the commercial and thought it would be a nice gesture to put it up. So everyone calm down and quit reading so far into this. It's just a Anheuser-Busch commercial to show support for our troops.
Official details of American Casualties in Iraq:

If you want to thank someone, thank them. But do it with respect, and don't make a beer commercial about it.
jcraider31, you can call me a moron when you learn how to write a short sentence in the English language without typos.
As for me being a liberal, that's laughable. I fought a war in Africa against communist terrorists - probably before you were born.
If you want to salute these men and women, that's your right. My point is that Bud is exploiting your misplaced pride.
"... it somewhere else this video isn't about debating the reasons were there or how it happened its ."
Agreed 110%

I'd thank you for telling the Bush administration what fuckheads they are by clearly saying "not with me, puritan capitalist assholes". For this? I don't say thank you. I say "F**k you".

It doesn't matter who it was made by its about them thanking those in uniform and most people understand that, but people like you can't see the point of the video. Its about showing the troops that their appreciated and to tell them thank you for their sacrifices.

We the sheeple of the United States, in order to defer our responsibilities in the affairs of this imperfect union, encourage injustice, insure domestic instability, degrade our nation's defense, put more people on welfare, and deny the blessings of liberty to ourselves and others, and damage our posterity, do grant the government the right to defame and trash the Constitution of the United States of America, whenever and wherever it so pleases.
BruceBuffalo50, What are we supposed to be thanking them for exactly? Keeping America safe? If you listen to Bush, that's the story. Is he serious? Iraq posed no threat to the USA other than the embarrassment Sadam's continued hold on the country, and daddy Bush's failure to take him out the first time.
That's what happens when you set up a dictator and he goes off piste.
Anyone who climbs on this in an attempt to portray it as anything other than a shameful act is just plain stupid.
quit trying to be so optimistic our troops are saveing millions of lifes to come no one see's that ur an idiot

By G58 [Affiliate User] 1206700753 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveI'm disturbed that you think there is an appropriate and inappropriate place to question your government, and in particular its foreign policy. Which is what I'm doing here.
But more disturbing still is that a corporate body, a beer company, would seek to profit from this tasteless exploitation. If it ever happens that people spontaneously stand and applaud returning servicemen and women, fine, that's their choice. But to use it as a beer commercial??
Barf! It seems that even pride has to be promoted these days.
By Ambiturner69 [Affiliate User] 1206685339 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveGreat commercial, brought tears to my eyes first time I saw it as it did just a couple minutes ago. I dont think the poster of this video intended for political debate by posting this video though. There is somewhere else for that. Dont lose sight of the message to thank our troops! Its as simple as that.

Hey G58, Information is good, but maybe this and this ad isn't the forum you are really looking to open up nor the debate stage that should be set. I would hope you, who has said to have fought in war, would see just a moment ( though be it by a corporate ICON )to pay respect to those who go where many will not, so that this discussion may be had.
By cmcban [Affiliate User] 1206670561 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveIt's unfortunate when facts get in the way of bullshit isn't it? Even if I didn't know those facts, all I had to do was Google them.
There's no such thing as too much information when you're deciding what's the right thing to do. Bush and Blair's stupidity and readiness to act on too little information, has already killed maybe 100,000 Iraqis, 4,000 US troops and 176 British troops.
Uh....Woah...Think you have too many facts :O?
By NSlvCarmine [Affiliate User] 1206656676 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveThe later case that was made to effect regime change in Iraq was an act of aggression on the part of Britain and the USA that will come back to haunt us all for a long time to come, as will the actions of you dumb assed, murdering, fuckwit, trigger happy US troops.
Get your facts right.
And I have fought a war. I fought to defend my country. I'd rather go to war against a US unit than give one the opportunity to be 'on my side'.
America and Britain declared war on Iraq on March 20 2003, after falsely making a case that Iraq was behind the 9/11 attacks and claiming Iraq had weapons of mass destruction.
Both arguments were unfounded in fact and law, and were not supported by any evidence or genuine intelligence.
Many of the weapons of mass destruction Iraq did at one time have, and deployed against its own people, were supplied by Britain and the US, after they set up Sadam in power.
