Cooking outdoors with twigs as fuel using a Winiarski Rocket Stove I made from a popcorn tin and some 4" galavanized stove pipe. I made this after watcing the Google Video titled "How to make a Rocket Stove". It worked great on the first try.

As an experiment, I added an extra section of stove pipe to the top to see what would happen. It created a greater updraft effect that caused the twigs to burn quicker and created a very hot "Rocket" type flame.

This was a fun, and very easy project. I intend to get a lot of use out of my Rocket Stove!

    One of the best rocket stove videos I have seen. If you have welding skills use some steel pipe instead of aluminum and you will get more life out of it. Good job!

    right on nice to see the difference between a short flue and the long one you put on. The long one is really getting a complete burn of all the flue gasses which equal more heat to your pot!
