They have been making them all, multiple times too. This is I think the third or fourth time they have remade 4.

Frankly ps3 is just plain ridiculous. And besides, it fits better for DS. I loved playing FFIII on it. And the graphics were jut too cute!

I always thought that FF's should never be remade because their classics, if they do remake one FF they should make them all, to not miss one of these spectacular games, (I'm ok with the FF 1 and 2 however because they just make a bit more prettier and tweek here and there but does not change the game much)

This is my favourite game in the series. I don't care about graphics. The DS graphics look pretty good actually with the FMVs and stuff. I don't even think this game needs a remake, but it's cool it got one anyways. The graphics makes the characters look cute.

A PS3 remake would be too much for my favorite classic final fantasy, I like it the way it is.

America does not represent the whole philosophy of "western" RPGs. Also, FF was never about pretty-boy men. In fact, FFIV Cid had the most facial hair of all FF characters.

And I'm glad they kept it that way.

FFIV (or FFs before FVII) do not belong on the PS3. Graphics weren't the main draw of the series back then, although it did help in the presentation. While characters and story are focuses of modern FFs nowdays, back then, it was about the gameplay and the character balance.

I sure hope they do a remake with PS3 with those kind of graphics .. it would define the way the character actually look and show how beautiful they truly were.

lol imagine if americans made this game. Cecil would have muscles that would bust out of his armor and he would be ugly. Rosa would be a slut and all the other characters would be non existant. They wouldn't talk, just kill stuff. I like the Japanese fantasy more then western because it focuses on character development and emotional stories. Also they don't make the pretty characters sluts or pansies.

Sorry about the liittle misconception about that comment about the sameness. I do agree with your comment. Halo and Half-life(made in eurpe,not american) made a impact in the game industry. I like american games but awhile I'm getting tired of killing and blood and games for only mature.I don't see it as an art. American and Japanese games made big impact but I give slight to the rising sun island because is more fun and with it's history of classic games, it don't match up with american games.

Japanese manga and cartoons have a sameness to them is what I said.
Gamewise those games have a big impact because their proven franchise that hasnt changed but mortal combat has.
American Games Like halo, Half-life, GTA, Counter Strike, Doom, and Unreal have made a huge impact too. Yes japanese has impacted world cultrue but you could say that about alot of other countries too.
The jpn uniquness is only unique to japan not to the games cause plenty other JRPGS have copied that to the letter.

America games are not better either. They both have their own pro and con...

Nobody said that Japanese gamse are better, anyway. And they don't have the sameness to americans. I don't mean it as a comparison. They invent games in a different level that in america we don't have unique or the creativity. They ARE SPECIAL! Look at Mario,Final Fanasty, Zedla,Tekken,Mortal Kobat, and others. Japanese's games made a big impact in our game industy than americans. I'm sorry,but they made a big contribution not just in games, but world culture. Sorry, americans, we not superpower
