    Try looking at it this way:

    Imagine someone told you that the world's beef supplies were running low and that we only had enough beef to feed the world's population for a month.

    You'd say: "But wait, don't we breed more cows just for the purpose of having a sustainable amount of beef to eat?"

    That's where, honestly, the movie falls down, logistically.

    If they were going to have a 90% vampire society, why aren't they breeding the 10% of humanity left in farms like we do with cattle?
