Medical Marijuana Alzheimer, CNN Int. 11 Mar 2008

I've never been a drug user. I don't even smoke regular cigarettes or drink at all anymore (thank the Lord). But this right here is the reason that I will probably be growing a few plants. A relative has the beginnings of dementia, and ever since hearing about this, my thumb has been turning green.

God made marijuana. Unfortunately, he made assholes, too. So now, modern medicine cannot keep up with the people. Damn the pharmaceutical companies.

not to mention that you can make hemp oil from it as well.

it grows everywhere like a weed chokes out weed naturally with its roots can grow in any environment can be used to make anything including car bodys which are stronger and lighter than steel and can be used as a universal medicine for just about anything. not to mention recreation. it is without a doubt the greatest natural resource on earth.

i felt a quiver of rage when she said "known to damage the mind," that is a flat out lie. and i thought it was common knowledge that pot isnt hallucinogenic where do they get their facts from? i guess they just make stuff up as they go along. ill never watch cnn again.

marijuana is neither hallucinogenic nor has it been shown to be "damaging" to the mind. It's only been shown to slightly effect short term memory while under the influence. It's pretentious to call that damage and it certainly isn't irreparable

This sounds like big pharma trying to extract and patent a compound. Trials take ten years and a billion dollars. I do commend them, and hope they're onto something. A recent (FEB 08)serendipitous discovery Google- 'western hospital deja vu' indicates that memories are actually being stored in the hypothalamus. This is new and very remarkable, and also the region where marijuana is famous for stimulating (hunger stimuli region, munchies). I consider this now elementary, studies need to be done.

lmao wow.... this is crazy.. it's like pot is good for everything. This would never show in United state's CNN... i have a feeling this is british which they are in favor of medical marijuana. This proves that the american government LIES.

Cannabis is not damaging to the mind,the media can't talk about cannabis without giving it a negative spin.Liars.
