I keep listening to this song every time I catch it on the radio in Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories for PS2. Great stuff.

i love that choir bit

i was 7 and it was 1975 and my mom and dad and i were spending the night at an old hotel in downtown racine, wisconsin. they fell asleep after The Outer Limits, but i was still awake watching a weird closed-circuit channel the hotel had: a row of clocks of different time zones. a camera would pan slowly back and forth across the clocks, with background music - this song. so whenever i hear this, i'm automatically transported back to that strange, lonely, dark hotel room and the creepy clocks.

As mentioned in the comment accompanying the track, this is the promo which is an abbreviated version of that which was released on Sheet Music to ensure the tv/radio stations would broadcast it - thankfully to great success!

This is considerably shorter than the version from their album, 'The Original Soundtrack' though it's still enjoyable.
