    first of all thank you. okay so I did this and my ps3 now works but when I started it up the fan began to go into highspeed imediately... I did use heatsink compound instead of heatsink pads at 1:11 on your video. Would that be causing the problem?

    lol and also, i might buy a broken ps3, buy new parts for it , and even for the 80gb ill try and put a memory card slot, if im lucky, and ill drill some holes in the outer shell so the memory cards can go through, and ill give it a nice faceplate, etc
