He's just wrong. While appearing in the form of a woman, Papa is referred to as "Papa" - not "Mama" - as a father, not a mother. He just hasn't read the book. Further, he confuses his own definitions - he clearly indicates that God is not male or female, but he's upset because God chooses, fictionally in The Shack, to manifest himself in the form of a human female. God is not limited.
