    Yea the stampede is a good truck to get it is basic and it will take abuse. there are hop up parts for it to make it better and more styleish to you desire. I have a HPI Firestorm but i wanted a Stampede but got the HPI cuz I didnt have to get battery pack for the EZ start and a charger for the 7.2 have fun selecting what you decide to get!

    I have a t-maxx 3.3, I've run it through water, mud, and snow. It runs as great as the day i bought it. I raced my friends savege, and mine was alot faster, its stock and I cant find another truck that can beat it. So if you're going to buy one, go with a t-maxx 3.3!
