    LOL. Its H2SO4, sulphuric acid from the hardware story. NaCl, salt from your mums cupboard and 10% ammonia solution from the cleaning isle of your local supermarket.
    H2SO4 + NaCl > HCl (g)
    HCl + NH3 > NH4Cl
    NH4Cl is quite soluble so don't expect it to crash out in the solution unless you distill.
    And yes, NH4CL can be simply be bought.
    Also, this is not a safe method as most of the HCl fumes are lost and destroying near by metals

    In the left flask is sodium chloride. Concentrated sulphuric acid is added. HCl gas is formed. This goes to the beaker on the right. That beaker contains 10% ammonia. The ammonia gas and HCl gas react to NH4Cl (the white smoke).
