In this one clip they may not have sung in many octaves, but Sinatra could go just as high and hold a note just as long as ANY of todays singers.

They might not have sung in many octaves, but the ones they used they were good at. And very passionate. And as you say very entertaining.

They might not have the vocal range of today's singers. But those people are show offs. The Rat Pack where 3 very talented bunch of singers, who only stuck to two octaves, but there stage presence - man. I would've loved to see Elvis Presley and Bobby Darin in on the act as well. Could you imagine that? Frank, Sammy, Dean, Bobby, and Elvis - all on stage? That would be my ultimate boy band...

Das waren zeiten mit musik und entertainern die bis heute unerreicht bleiben.
Es ist einfach nur traurig das solche musik nicht mehr gemacht wird, genau so wie dieser flair, und dieser charm dieser zeit auch verloren gegangen ist...
vielleicht irgendwann mal wieder..
