I have yet to experience any american car with a satisfying build quality and interior material quality and finish. I have heard that the Ford GT and the Cadi Sixteen are good, but I have only seen the GT buzz by, and the Sixteen, well, you know.

amen, we only drive an average of 30 minutes at a time. the F**k do i need springy leather seats and electronic adjustable seats and pedals for? oh, thats right... i dont. cloth seats and a 150-250 horse engine will do me just fine at the price range of 14,000-20,000 dollars. i agree with u brown.

GM was awful in the 80s but since 2000 they have become the best in the US in terms of quality. So what if the vette isnt the fastest car? An M5 is nice but who really NEEDS a car that can wipe your butt or have headlamp wipers? Im not rich and never will be so all these cars are exotic to me. I have more important things to focus on than cars and possession. So I will keep supporting my country and buying AVERAGE GM cars that get me from A to B!

brown55061.. You just said speed dosnt matter after saying it does.. Ok.. If you dont understand how say a BMW M5 is better than a 300C SRT-8 then go hop back on your bike buddy. You only haft to sit in the M5 to see why - let alone drive it.. or look at its stats. American cars are bottom of the barrell. Thats why American car companys are in the worst shape in the money department.

GMs are crappy plastic average joe cars! They have been making Porsche 911's for around 40 years! One of the best cars on the roads today is a Porsche 911.

Someone can buy a Z06 and be happy with it if it performs the job the driver requires. Porsches and italian jobs cost twice as much for the same or less performance, cost more to maintain, cost more for insurrance, get less fuel economy etc. Most wealthy people who buy these kinds of cars never go beyond 100mph anyway or ever see a track so who cares?

Porche's are always in the shop, GM is a more practical and reliable company.

Vette styling is plagiarized from Euro cars, and GM's only answer for speed is to throw in a huge V8. Take a look at the resale price of '05 models and tell me which car has held it's value best.. it's -not- the corvette! A 1989 951 (944 turbo) with a 2.5L 4 cyl is as fast as a new stock Corvette. Porsche = Quality = Reliability. Vettes don't win because they break-down.
