          While it is true that it takes more energy in the form of electricity to produce hydrogen by *conventional* hydrolysis - this technology is based on Stan Meyers work, which is not *conventional* hydrolysis. I've read the patent, studied electronics and am on my way to building a unit this year.

            the patent was issued for water treatment so its it doesnt matter is this system has been out there before if they have come up with a new way to use it then they can get a patent. however a patent isnt really worth anything till it has been defended successfully and you can bet that the oil companies will challenge it till these guys are out of money if hey can. this will be very interesting.

                            It takes more energy to make the Hydrogen Oxygen gas than you get when you burn it. This is a huge waste of energy! It is more efeshent to use a electric heater then to sepreate the H2O and recombine it again.

                                  It's those metal plates that do it. They have a lot of surface area for the electric current to travel to and from, seperating oxygen from hydrogen as the current passes though the water. It also has to do with the metal they use for the plates, most likely platinum. And that "digital electronic signal" is nothing more than power from a car battery, possibly with a voltage or amperage boost. Still nothing special in my opinion.
