    yeah this film is pretty fucked up i regret watching that R**e scene it still bothers me it was really disturbing, it makes me angry and sad that woman didnt deserve that like she just got raped isnt that enough but no its never left me since, i dont know what to do to make it go away whenever i think about it i just kinda get angry it shouldve been a different woman then i probably wouldnt seem to care

    One of the reasons that I like this movie and I think a lot of people do as well is the atmospheric soundtrack by Thomas Bangalter. It really adds to the dark immersive feeling. I also love the way the story unfolds. You have to watch the tragic and brutal acts before you see why it unfolded that way. Overall I felt like I was on a twisted ferris wheel along for the ride. Brilliant, unforgiving cinema about the dark corners of the human psyche.

    But it IS a controversial. Some people hate it and some people love it. When you watch it, it's like cinematic torture. But I believe it's a necessary film to watch.
