I had a similar spine surgery at L5S1 level on Nov 2007 @ Miot hospital Chennai India.

Hey, well done for coming so far. You have been so brave througout. I had my scoliosis surgery in August 2006 but I had the anterior approach instead of posterior, so I have a small scar on my left side. I am pleased I did it and couldn't be happier =D thanks for sharing your inspiring story with us,

i had to get the surgery twice and the 1st time i was really high lol my frind said that i sent he a really werid messege XD but the second time suxed cuz they didnt have my pain medcine ready :( so i was in LOTS of pain.. i can remeber eveything :( and i had the WORSE nurse ever.. she was just like hitler lol but im glad i got it:) oh and i got it on July 2 2008 =D before i got the surgery it was 70deg when i came out it was 28 :)

Congrats on recovery, I went through the same thing you did back in 2001 and I just turned 21 on the same day you went into surgery, September 15th! Hope all is well!
