In India, the lowest caste in the caste system are the Dalit caste and like the slaves of medieval times, they cannot own land.
This film shows us a case of an 'upper-caste' man whose land was taken from him by the Government and handed over to a Dalit farmer. Together, as a team, they urge the Dalit community to claim laid that the Government is obliged to make available to them and not have fear of the violent backlashes from the 'Upper-caste'...and guess what? 700 families came forward during the screenings to begin applying for their land, an initiative by Navsarjan NGO.
